I also have the GTX 1050, very happy with performance. Note: There was an Nvidia update yesterday.

I'm still running a GTX960. It runs TS2018 and Tom Clancys The Division perfectly using DX12.

Why do you want to upgrade this card, anyway, Erik, it only came out 13 months ago, I have a 1060 6GB that came out 15 months ago, so, yours is newer. However, if you want a bit more ooooomph, inside your computer, then, I can suggest that you get a 1060 6GB, or, a 1070, it depends on your budget of course, and if you are an avid gamer and have the money, then, a 1080 would be even better.

I would increase the memory to 16gigs before I did anything else. Yes I know the game can only use 4 however with all of the junk we have running in the background particularly with Win10 it might help more than anything else.

I would keep the 1050 Ti. It really is a capable card with little potential for a drop in performance in the near future. With current GPU prices, unless you have money to burn you don't have a choice but to keep the 1050 Ti anyway. Cryptocurrency miners have repeatedly snatched up high-end NVIDIA and mid-tier to high-end AMD gaming GPUs by the dozen in the hopes of making money. So now prices are way out of wack and so is availability. It's almost like you have to know someone. Anyway, I'd definitely mess with that 1050 Ti until GPU prices come down or the next generation of NVIDIA gaming GPUs are released, (either Ampere or Volta, we don't know yet) whichever comes first.

Hello Does anyone think I should buy all new sticks of ram for this? Also if so what brand of ram should I get?

I think just the ram update would do me good on this P.C

I use Corsair, G.Skill or Crucial in all my systems.

I really couldn't say as all systems are different. I will say this, I have two laptops and one desktop. The only real difference between the two is the amount of ram (16Gb vs 32Gb). I don't really notice a difference between the two systems. I'm not a real technie when it comes to computer hardware so someone who understands the differences between ram, ram speed, processor, etc. may be able to give you a better insight into what size of a memory upgrade you may want to make.

I went from 8gb to 16gb of ram about 6 months ago and didn't notice any great performance increase in TS. Now that the 64bit version is here you might. Just another thing make sure you get ram designed to run on AMD CPUs. Running ram designed for Intel CPUs may not work or vice versa. This use to be a problem a few years ago but may not be an issue today.
