Bandicam trouble.

Unread postby RAILSOHIO » Thu Sep 08, 2016 12:35 pm

So after years of using FRAPS, I decided to d/l the highly rated Bandicam. It works great! For the first booting of Railworks, anyway. Then it will not record from there,on out. I fired up MSTS and Trains, works great. I uninstalled Bandicam, reinstalled, and it works great but only in the first session. I have GeForce 950GTX. The frame rates display, but you can not record, and the Bandicam watermark does not display. I could not find an answer in any of the faqs on the BC website. I did change the hot key,but changed it back to default. Any ideas?

I tried other trial versions of video recorders, and I am now using "action". So consider this problem 'Solved".

Strange. I've never had this type of problem.

I know,it was freaky-weird it would only work the first session. I really liked how it was set up. But ACTION is nearly identical in use. And generates smaller files than FRAPS,also.

Well if you can put up with the new sign-in procedure, use ShadowPlay in the GeForce Experience. It captures wonderfully. It doesn't record in borderless window mode though..... at least not on laptops. Last I had read on the subject, it won't record anything but Full Screen mode on laptops. If you want to record the windows or the desktop, my understanding is ShadowPlay will only do so on Nvidia's desktop based GPUs. Why? I have no idea! !*don-know!*
