I don't know why they wouldn't. Been using it since it came out and have had no problems with it. A lot of companies now releasing Windows 10 versions of there software. Yes I know some people get paranoid over that MS are snooping on them more so using Windows 10 than previous versions of Windows.

How about at my work we have 45 computers running Win7 using a erp program and our QC program that will not run on win10 at this point. We even have a labels program that's still running on a xp computer and I'm told the cost to upgrade is in the thousands. Oh yeah and our time clocks have software that we have been warned will not function properly with win10 at this time. Their answer to the problem was buy four new time clocks.

Funnily enough, just before reading this post, I'd already decided to back up my current work and then do a restore from the system image I made of Win 7 before "upgrading" to Win 10. For me at least, Win 10 has been a disaster. The PC crashes (BSOD) if I leave it alone for more than a couple of minutes. The photo viewer app refuses to run, so I have to view photos in Photoshop. The speakers won't work if they're plugged into my X-fi card. I didn't have any of these problems with Win 7.

My BSOD issues were because of a Nvidia driver update and went away when I rolled back to the previous version.....as discussed in this thread....

Which photo viewer are you talking about.... the older classic Windows one .. or the newer Win 10 Photo "App"? They both work for me...although I much prefer the older one and had to reconfigure the file types to be opened by it cuz the Win 10 upgrade has them opening with the newer Photo APP by default instead.

It was the newer one. It worked at first, but then one day it just refused to start (even after restarting the PC several times, doing a chkdsk /f, scanning the registry for errors, etc.). I'd also tried various versions of NVidia drivers, all to no avail. Even the printer drivers stopped working and I couldn't create a PDF file. After restoring the Win 7 system image, all's been fine again.

Well you've got 2 options..... you can stick with Win 7.... or do another fresh install of Win 10 and if the problems return then go back to 7 for good on this machine. I'd give it at least another go myself personally... but that's just me.

Other than the BSOD Nvidia driver issue I've resolved, I have only 2 minor issues left that aren't a huge deal.....

#1: My Intel HD graphics driver will crash and reset itself (without needing to reboot the computer) sometimes while surfing the net, but not often. I have had the Nvidia Driver crash and reset itself too since upgrading to Win 10, but the Intel driver crashes only started after the huge Windows 10 update a couple months ago.

#2: After a minor Windows update a few weeks ago, the volume icon in the system tray is there but it would stop allowing me to select it to adjust volume or bring up the sound menu anymore. In some instances the icon wouldn't even be in the system tray at all. I searched the net about the problem and found a temporary fix by deleting some system tray icon file in the registry. I say temporary fix because for me and others, the fix usually only lasts for 2 to 4 computer boot ups before the problem returns. Then it's rinse and repeat until some future update hopefully resolves the issue permanently.

Once I finished updating my softwares I have had no problems with Win 10. I always have the most current NVidia drivers as well. My machine is pretty awesome though. All the things I used to turn off that ran in the background on Win 7 are running just fine on WIn 10 with no loss of power. Like the search indexing thing, that was what I always turned of first now I don't have to. All I turned off was the UAC crap and all the phoning home crap. All my games settings are now maxed out, even the newer ones.
