ASUS GTX 750 1GB: Do I need to worry about VRAM?

Hello Guys!

Recently I upgraded to a ASUS GTX 750 (NOT Ti) 1GB VRAM for no cost at all, and I'm curious as to what settings I can accomplish without potentially running out of video memory. I'm kind of paranoid about overdoing my settings.

Settings Currently:
-All Sliders Maxed (Scenery, Shadows, etc.)
-Lighting (TSX)
-Linear Texture
-No Dynamic Clouds
-No Anti-Aliasing
-No Procedural Flora
-No Adaptive Bloom
-No Depth of Field
-Using Lens Flare
-1920X1080 Resolution (Native)

Sherman Hill get 25-35 FPS (Oddly Enough for a practically desolate route), Marias Pass, HSC, etc. get 50-70 FPS, and Story of Forest Rail gets 45-60 FPS.

I have no idea if I would be coming anywhere near my Max VRAM, or if I'm just being too paranoid about a new thing I just learned was a thing. Any opinions would be appreciated.

I use to run a GTX 560 TI 1gb card with everything on. Yes you are paranoid. What size monitor is the most important thing for VRAM, so what size monitor are you running ?

Resolution: 1920x1080 (Recommended)
Refresh Rate: 60hz

You should have no problems with VRAM then. I ran a 24" monitor with my 560TI with no problems which I'm still using with my GTX 960 2gb card. I would probably still be running the 560 if it hadn't of stopped working.

Now to figure out why Sherman Hill is operating so poorly compared to much more demanding routes... Did it get an upgrade in 2016 or something?

Have you taken it out into the country? Yes it got a upgrade however in my scenarios there is a lot of rolling stock in both Cheyenne and Laramie which might be causing your slow down.

I think it only got an upgrade if you purchased TS 2016 and got Sherman Hill with the Gas Turbine.

Whelp, I got a Vertex Buffer error on the Story of Forest Rail route. (Occurred after alt+tab to desktop to check resource usage) Settings are the same as the last.

Did I actually hit m VRAM max today?

SoFR: 50-60% RAM 50-70% CPU on average

HSC: 43-45% on both RAM and CPU on average using different equipment.

I get that too sometimes when I press control alt delete. As far as I can remember this just started since TS2016. Not a major, I just restart TS and merrily continue driving. Being paranoid again.

Well, considering that error is supposed to be a VRAM error. I had reason to be concerned.
