All the fans are running, even in my video board. The hard drives are spinning. I swapped video boards, no go. I tried hard drives in another computer they boot up. No beeps even if I take the ram out.
The power switch has been giving me problems. When I turned it off it would not turn back on. When I laid it on its side, the switch worked. It lights up when on. It does not light up any more. I removed the front panel to get to the switch. The button works now to turn it on and off, but it does not light up any more. There is a small light, that blinks less than a second when I turn it on. I get no display on the screen. There are 8 wires that come from the switch. 6 are in a packet and attach to the mother board. The other 2 are together and connect to the mb in another spot. What are all these wires for? I am wondering if the switch is stopping something from getting power?
I have the old video board and power supply. Tomorrow I am going to try putting them back in.
