SSDs have sure dropped in price!

I finally bit the bullet and bought a 500GB Samsung EXO 850 SSD drive and installed it.
It was only $180.
The prices have really come down, so if you're someone that has been thinking about doing this, now is a good time.
I can vouch for Samsung SSDs, I've used them for a couple of years as gaming drives before installing this new OS drive.
The guys over at Fry's Electronics that build systems for people told me that the Patriot and SanDisk drives are very good, although they prefer the Samsung ones.
New build. i7-7700k, MSI Z270 Gaming M5 Mobo, Hyper 212 Evo, Corsair DDR4 3200 Mhz RAM, Klipsch Pro Mediea 2.1 Speakers, Samsung 850 Evo SSD, HAF XM Case, Asus Strix GTX 1070 and Cooler Master Storm XT Keyboard.
Slick with Pretty Rainbow Colors.

Eric
the same applies to the PCIe versions of SSDs and they are not restricted by the "speed" of the SATA bus.
