Read about this new chip from Nvidia that literally could be a game changer in the mobile gaming market: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-25618498

I'm not one to use gaming and a tablet or mobile device in the same sentence, but this new chip from Nvidia seems like it could open up a whole new market. I'm not predicting the downfall of PC's or laptops, they will still live forever. You can see the power of this new chip here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkJ5PupShfk. I think it will open up a new market segment. Like to think Sony and MSBox have seen their days.

Well I don't think that'll happen any time soon, but high-level PC gaming will continue for a long time, I hope. That UE4 demo looks real cool! I can just imagine the power needed to run that. Dual Titans in SLI???

One of the biggest things Nvidia is touting is this new quad core chip runs on 1/10th the power of existing chips in consoles now. Less power = less heat, and heat is the biggest console or PC killer. But also less power draw = longer battery life.

Don't get me wrong, personally, I'm a tried and true desktop person. Had a laptop once, gave it away after a month. No use for a tablet. But that market is growing in a huge way. Dumb if Dovetail Et Al don't take advantage of it, and looks like this chip could make that happen. Besides the licensing to put a game onto SonyPS or MSbox is outrageous.
