I might have World In Conflict lying around somewhere, have to see. Meanwhile I'm busy with Call of Duty: Black Ops, Railworks, Minecraft, and when they get released Battlefield 3 and Portal 2. All for the goold old PC. *!greengrin!*

I also have Black Ops, but for PS 3. Portal 2 and Battlefield are also two must haves for me this year. (Did you know that if you buy Portal for PS3 you get a free PC version? That's great. !!*ok*!! )

I used to be a Half Life 2 FPS player every day, but since MS ruined my mouse hand I stick to 3 sims:

Rise Of Flight, WW I aerial combat par excellence
Railworks 2
and occasionally the fine sub sim Silent Hunter 4

Hi Gunloon

I used to enjoy playing ROF as well - trouble is the updates made it unplayable on my laptop, even when I turned everything down. I agree though, totally excellent flight sim!

Cheers

the other battlefield games are great but they can't measure up to BF 1942. here is a ship that you CAN drive!

I do enjoy a bit of GTA. After a frustrating day at work there is nothing more satisfying than shooting a few people in the face.

Hi. Just grabbed Cities In Motion yesterday as it seemed like a decent transit simulation of sorts. Anyone else play this? I like the concept but the gameplay is a bit confusing. Especially the vagueness of some of the objectives. Any good tips on how to get more familiarized with it? Tutorial was ok but still vague.

There are many great games out there nowadays. Too many to name them all.

Lately, I've been playing Test Drive Unlimited 2. A car simulator where you can drive around where you want and they have added a casino inside the game. If you like Texas Holdem, then that game is nice. You don't play with real money but money you have to earn in the game. So you gamble with your time.

The other game I've been playing and modding, is Silent Hunter 5. It's a world war 2 German U-Boat simulator. The game is barely playable without the mods though, so if you're into submarine simulators, then this game is it but you MUST get comfortable with add-on mods. The game really is coming around now that there are enough good mods for it. And even better ones on the way. Of course, the game is at it's best when you play it on realistic settings. Eye candy for days and you actually have to use your brain to succeed.

RailWorks is a fine simulator too. I must say I drooled all over myself at the announcement of RW3 (Train Simulator 2012).

After Half-Life 1 and 2, all other first person shooters went kind of pale to me so I've been more into simulators ever since.

If you still play on line, check the [5th mrc] midway 24/7 server. They have a modded version of Midway, both the japanese and the US fleet have a battleship, a carrier, two destroyers and a submarine. There's also 2 PT boats and (sigh) lots of planes.

Love vehicle games, so I used to play a ton of GTA San Andreas on both PC and PS2, and did a lot of turning left and goin' fast in NASCAR Racing 2003 Season. Here are some of my custom cars that I painted for the NASCAR game, couldn't help but let my trains and stock cars mix a little bit.

Nice. I'm a F1 fan. Going left on an oval, just gets boring fast, hehehe. I always wondered why the RR's haven't sponsored a Nascar team yet. Huge promotional value in that. Anyhoo, right now Railworks and Just Cause 2 are the only games I'm messing with right now. That's gonna change once Battlefield 3 get's released. :D
