I read that in CNET as well. All links in different sites with a PC Health Check link, are being sent to the Windows 11 information site.

However I have the tool installed, with a shortcut in my desktop and the app is working as it did last week.

Some possible reasons (and this is just pure speculation on my part):

The tool is inaccurate

The number of negative results (indicating that the PC will not run Windows 11) has caused an uproar among users and negative publicity for Microsoft

The requirements are being reconsidered or revised, so the tool is no longer reliable

We will see what happens. *!lol!*

I am still uncertain why anyone wants to go to win11 unless you are just a geek who must have the newest of everything like my one son who has a dozen old phones in his desk drawer. What is this new thing going to do for us here? Asking for a friend. !*roll-laugh*!

Other than UI changes, I doubt much. It doesn't look too different either. All I know is even though my processor is compatible, I don't think I'm gonna switch to 11 anytime soon.

This could all very well change as MS have removed the Windows 11 requirement tool due to the outcry from users whose systems didn't meet the requirements which was a fair amount of users. My 6-month-old Desk Top computer didn't meet the requirements because of TPM but I can turn it on in the bios.

After the tool was removed, I signed up for the Widows Insider program and tried to download the development version of 11. I was advised that my computer didn't meet the requirements and I wasn't able to download it. I don't know if this check was in place before they removed the tool.
