You're right, but unfortunately there are many irresponsible parents who buy their kids every game and don't think about it. *!sad!*
And that's why they censor everything.
You in the US are lucky. Just take the weapon thing for example: I'm not for everyone having the right to own every kind of fire arm, but in Germany it's really draconic.
I hate it how our freedom is cut. But that' another thing. *!twisted!*

(careful, y'all, stay on topic *!!wink!!* )

I'm also a big fan of Indie games. I'm getting a small collection now. Darkest of Days (shooter) Machinarium (really fun 2D puzzle game) this morning I picked up VVVVVV. This one will take you back to the days of the Commodore 64! Fun flash based game. !!*ok*!!

I know y'all don't want to get this thread locked, so let's not start getting into any political stuff.
I was a bit hesitant about even letting this topic continue after the first post, since it has nothing to do with RW. Don't confirm my doubts. *!!wink!!*

maybe move it into the jungle, but I think locking would be wrong. Some time off from our trains is good needed when mighty SBHH comes around again *!!wink!!*

micael with the nice contacts you made here I guess someone would be so kind to gift you the game from his american account so you get the "full" version. Maybe a gift back of a nice RW addon could help *!!wink!!*

Oh Indie games: get Minecraft! You can have trains in it too! *!lol!* Ok, most people use it to build rollercoasters but that is a lot of fun too. This one is pretty awesome: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebhFHYcHGvY

Along with Atari and Amiga it's a huge influence in Indie development , the concepts from the early platforms and side scrollers , with some new twist ideas , translate well for casual gaming for today > simple , adictive and fun .... check out the Unity site for a way cool ( Android for cheap **!!bow!!** ) dev platform . Maybe you download the free version and see how it's done , maybe you got hidden talent .

Casual gaming is great .

I don't have a problem with talking about games that folks enjoy. I just don't want it to turn into something else. !*cheers*!

I have a real old side scroller that actually came on an audio driver CD called "Dark Star" it's just a fun, fast paced Arcade type shooter. Plus I have a bunch of old Atari pub-style shooters like Galaga and Galaxians. How many quarters on a Saturday night did I pour into those arcade machines. Lost of fun back in the day, and now too on the PC.

I decided to buy those 2 "Penny Arcade" games last week, $7.80USD for both games. "point and click" 2D stuff but it still takes the edge off and gives a laugh. !!*ok*!!
