LOL, yeah, only core I'm worried about is the core of this game. My CPU has 4 of them and I think I'm good with that.

Besides, that's not a CPU, it's a co-processor. I remember those back in the days of 386 CPU's. Math co-processors.

Thanks... now I am feeling really old. But lets try and one up you. Remember the third chip player back then (noted for getting extremely hot) Cyrix? Yup, had one... wish I didn't.

Oh, there wasn't anything wrong with a Cyrex chip. Little too hot at times. They were just as good back in the day. Or what was the other one, Evergreen? Quite a few knock off's until Intel got a choke hold on CPU arcetecture.

Now, you want to go nostalgic, how about a Commodore VIC 20 or a C64? I still have both of those and an Amiga. I was an authorized Commodore repair center for quite a few years. Got pretty good at replacing those 8086 chips.

Wow, I think I just had a flashback to playing games on a C64. Remember the expansion slots? Oh, my. 8 bit games. !*brav*!

C64... I was just a child when I saw my first one. I started with Apple II and Tandy. *!greengrin!*

I think you are thinking of "Everex". I don't think they made CPUs but they did make memory expanders (my Dad had one for his 286) and other controllers.

Hmmmm, could have been Everex. It was one of those in the very early Pentium 1 days. Could have been a P1 100 or something equivalent. Move a few jumpers and overclock that bad boy to 105Mhz! Weeeee Hooooooooo! !*roll-laugh*!

Even though my PC runs a C64 emulator, I still have the original machine in a box.

How about the first 10mb hard drive... no one will _ever_ need that much space!

Little did they know.

I have one room in my pad I should set up as a PC museum. OK, so it's junk. But it's cool, nostalgic junk. How about one of those double stack hard drives that pushed the envelop at 256Mb. I have an original IBM desktop, yep, the one that the top opened like the hood on a car. Even has the "prop rod" to keep the top up. 386/ 33 CPU. Wow, screamin! !!*ok*!! Yes, the darn thing still boots up! Hard to find a good AT keyboard now a days. Those adaptors stink.

My Dad still has his H89 with an external 5.5" dual-sided, dual bay drive (made copying files a breeze back then), but everything else we ever built has been long since recycled.

You should start a small site devoted to tech antiques, my get some good hits.
