OK, I didn't know about the overlay with card info, so never used it. I click on the Precision icon, set fan speed and overclock, run Folding @ Home for 1/2 hour (it runs my video card at 99%) open Precision and check the temp. Then close Precision. That's all I use Precision for. To see the frame rate, I use FRAPS (also great for screen shots)

That only applies to newer video cards and drivers. I have 3 monitors set up on 2 GeForce 7600 GT KO cards but they're not set up for SLI because multi-monitors will not work on the old cards I have if SLI'd. I know! I've tried. *!sad!*

Same here with 2 x GeForce 9800 GTX and 3 monitors.
I have to run most of the time with SLI disabled, and manually enable it in the Nvidia control panel for the few games that need SLI. It screws up my monitor setup every time I go back to 3-monitor mode, but I use ultramon for easily restoring the setup.

I wish there was a way to automatically enable / disable SLI instead of manually.

Ultramon, huh? I ought have to give that a try. I've been using Display Fusion, although I do like it, I'm always willing to try something new.

Edit 1: I do see one major difference between Ultrmon and Display Fusion. It looks like Ultramon will only display one background image per monitor on each of the monitors where Display Fusion allows you to set up folders with more than one image in each folder for the monitors.
I have three folders set up. Each has about 200 images in them and I can adjust how often the background changes on each monitor.

Plus Display Fusion is $15.00 cheaper.

That sounds good.
I wouldn't have noticed because all my background images are huge panoramas that I cut into 3 pieces for my 3 monitors, so I don't want them to change independently.
