Graphics Card Question

Is the nvidia gt 540m a decent graphics card?

Should railworks be playable with this card?

I don't know a whole lot about laptop videocards, that said, from the specs, yes it appears it will run RW3 ok, but I'd guess at mid-range settings at best. If you could swing a 560m - based on the specs, that should handle RW3 at higher settings better.

A lot of what a mobile card can do depends on how much system RAM you can cram into the laptop, since any onboard video uses system RAM as VRAM. In BIOS, you allocate how much RAM goes to the video, 1Gb to me should be the minimum. The 540 is bare minimum, as barnez said.
