Windows 11 Update does not update all windows stuff. For instance often not Microsoft Visual C++
A - To see available updates:- Select the Start menu on the taskbar, or press the Windows key.
- Type "cmd".
- Right-click "Command Prompt" and select "Run as Administrator".
- Type "winget update" and hit enter.
- You now see a list of available updates.
B - To update a specific one:- Type "winget update --id 123abc" and hit enter. (123abc is the id that was listed in step A).
C - To update all:- Type "winget update --all" and hit enter.
Thanks for that. Yes, it sure does show other Windows stuff that needs updating, as well as other software on my computer that also needs updating. Finding all the stuff on your computer takes about 30 seconds or so.
