Some people are frightened to update citing the update can stop programs from working. Maybe true if you have older programs which Windows 10 no longer supports.

But you cannot really stop Windows10 from updating since you don’t own it and it’s proprietor Microsoft considers it a “service” and has your best interest, intentions and safety/security always on their mind, LOL *!greengrin!*
