ATS always had trains - it's only now that they have proper ones. :D
Cheers!

No licensing issues apparently, even though you can smash a tanker into a train?

Well, it's not BNSF, it's RailRunner which is NM Dept. of Transportation, so, maybe not as difficult to get permission from the State.

The models look great, especially the grade crossings. Quite odd how the grade crossings in a truck simulator can look better than the default DTG crossings... (Same with Farming Simulator 17...)

Wonder if one can drive trains in a truck simulation?

DLC available later today.

Bought!

Where to go next? Colorado, Utah? Both would be awesome, but Colorado probably has the edge with all those Rocky Mountains. :D

Someone sneaked a screenshot onto their blog, Edwin, the next State looks like it will be Oregon, no confirmation from SCS, yet, of course.

Who wants to see a train, and a Caboose......... !*YAAA*!

There is no ATS2 at this point. Version 1 only has 4 states, and has only been out since early 2016. If someone can correct the thread title, that'd be cool.

Train spotting is not something that can be easily done in ATS. I don't think there is even a route with a railway line running parallel to it for any real length. I'm still yet to visit that junction in NM with the railway passing through it.

BTW, are the freight train consists that include a loco and like 2 wagons even accurate for the state they're shown in? The crossings seem to love jumping into action as soon as they detect that you're nearby, after having no trains for who knows how long!

If this is true, we can expect to wait at least 6-9 months for this release, with lots of teasers!
