No difference in TSW with game mode on or off.

No better performance for me either in any game I play, but they all played good before the update. One thing I do like is the translation button on Edge now. It works fast and like a charm. Now I can go to the European sites and read English.

3D Paint is kinda cool, but if you can't draw to begin with, it is of no use. I can do CAD but I can not draw. Other than the Translator button on Edge, the upgrade did not give me much I can/would use.

I've never thought about this before, but how can I tell whether I've gotten this new Win 10 build or not?

Open Edge and see if there is a new little button on the upper right. Mouse over will say Translation. I am at work so I can look see what version windows is.

Another option, right click on the Windows icon in the lower left, click run and type "winver" without parenthesis in the box. if you have the new one it will say version 1703.

It is actually a plugin for Edge, which you have to download. Doesn't come as default. Yes I have 4 buttons in Edge in the upper right hand corner and one of them I cannot use which I presume is the translate button.

As Trev says the translator is an "EXTENSION" (MS Speak for plug-in) for MS Edge, and once installed it appears as an mini-icon next to the address bar.
There are some useful extensions in the MS store and I'll investigate some of these further.

A person doesn't even have to do that. Just click in the "Search Windows" box and type "winver" you'll get the program to come up. Then just click on it.

Gizmodo reports this morning:

"Microsoft Warns Users Not to Install its Latest Windows Update, For Now...."

Evidently there are some teething problems.......
