Bandicam Trouble

Unread postby bpetit » Fri Aug 07, 2015 9:21 pm

I was wonder what could be the cause of this. I have run the system file checker but each time it has reported no problems. Each time I install bandicam it spits out four different dll errors. Either ntdll.dll, nvumdshim.dll, nvd3dum.dll, or MSHTML.dll. I am utterly confused and this is a fresh install since July 30th.

Are you running Windows 10 by any chance. I tried installing a program on Windows 10 non related to TS and got a whole lot of missing dlls. If you type each missing dll into Google or what ever it will come up with a site to download missing dlls from. The program I was trying to run after getting all the dlls it came up with another error. I gave up. !!bang!!

The two that start with "NV" are Nvidia.
The one that starts with "NT" is probably an old dll from Windows NT.
The "MSHTML" is probably "Microsoft HTML" although I've never seen that one before.

From what I just read about it, the Nvidia ones are solved by doing a clean install of the Nvidia drivers. That includes the one that starts with "NT".

The MSHTML one is a problem from way back, that Microsoft sent out as a update during the Vista days. It originally affected IE 8. Apparently some other programs were using that old dll. The ghost of Vista is haunting you... *!twisted!*

A clean install with NVidia didn't work so I really went extreme and reinstalled windows 8.1 once more. No problems now..

Just a quick note: on my computer, FRAPS is running just fine under WIN 10--in fact, even better than before, since now it loads with Windows every time.
