Well, they don't have to pay any royalty anymore.

Nothing's changed.

When you ship a game or application, you pay a 5% royalty on gross revenue after the first $3,000 per product, per quarter.

Has there been any simulation game of the same scope as Railworks been programmed in Unreal?

What is the graphics basis in UR4? OpenGL?

I noticed on Steam there is a SteamOS now, a Linux derivate, and Linux uses OpenGL. A multi platform Railworks UR would be nice.

To answer the above question, I haven't found anything even remotely resembling a train simulation on UR.

But perhaps this counts as a simulation?

Yawn. Until the sim can dispense beer for when you aren't catching anything, it truly can't simulate the real life fishing experience properly. !**duh*!!
Though, if it did do it properly, you'd be fishing, already have a few beers in ya, and ring ring goes your phone in game for the Train Sim NextGen Railway giving your on duty call, and that "random" UA screening!
