It's the same thing as original FSX. If you have the boxed version of FSX, don't buy this. In addition to absolutely no changes in the code or product, many addons are not supported, including the gateway to addon products, FSUIPC. Existing multiplayer servers run through the "direct connect LAN" option are not accessible from this "new" product.
If you never had FSX, that's another story. The boxed version is becoming rare, selling for hundreds of dollars on Ebay. The Steam version is now the only one you can practically get.

Thanks, Marc. I just ordered the adapter.
According to this Dutch webstore, CH Products also sells Rail Drivers: http://www.consoleshop.nl/category/182485/ch-products.htm

You are right, it seems either the yoke or the pedals work on one adaptor, but apparently not both together according to some reviews off the Amazon pages links.
They used to work together on the old computer's game port, even when I had a MIDI extension box connected as well.
My yoke and pedals are like 25+ years old by now, and perhaps the potentiometers have gone bad.
So if I need to replace them due to incompatibility, is the Saitek range a better option?
