Hello. I'm new to this forum. I did a search but could not find what I am looking for. I downloaded both the Unstoppable Locomotives and the AWVR Pack here at RWA. Great work! I followed the directions. I have loaded both of these, made a consist, can get it to work external view (4) but when I go inside the cab (1) I get colorful strobing lines and no cabview. What causes this? I emailed the arthur of the Unstoppable Locomotives and have not gotten a reply. The readme in the AWVR Pack had a statement that said no more support on these. Thanks for any help. I will not be able to apply any suggestions until later tonight.

Is it all of them or just the Dash9 ? Older repaints for the Dash9 use to do this because the loco was updated and there was some changes in the Bin file.

So far I've tried the Dash 9's and the SD70ACe's. It looks like just the Dash 9 is giving me this trouble.

It's possible that the new Dash 9 Cab is incompatible with an older version of the Dash 9 itself.
Or maybe the cab has to be replaced with the new one.

Derick, what is your in-game graphic detail level set at? In Settings> Graphics, click Custom, make sure detail is set at 10. The default TS settings aren't good enough.

Once I go through the TS 2014 Promo and I'm in the game, I clicked on Game Settings, I see Graphics, Gameplay, Audio, Controls, Credits, Tools. I clicked on Graphics and I see Master Level, Screen Resolution, Full Screen, Screen Brightness, TSX Mode. I did not see Settings, Graphics, Custom, Detail Settings. Where can I find what you recommend so that I can see to it being set to 10? Thanks to those trying to help me.

When you click Graphics Advance do you see Scenery Denisty If you do that needs to be 10.

Thanks Merlin. I did that and the problem still remains. I do have the NS Heritage Pack DLC. Will something out of there suffice? If so, tell exactly what I need to copy and paste and where. I also have the Marias Pass Route if something can be used from there.
Thanks

http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 0#p1536970 This will give you a basic idea of what you need to copy from the default dash9 bin file. So it is wiperpairs to wiperpairs and then you need all the text to do with headlights and I think taillights. The Dash9 is abit different to the class170 the dash9 has abit more to copy and paste. Or you can wait for someone to send Bob a new bin file and wait until it get's uploaded here on RWA.

I will wait to see if someone sends Bob a new Bin file. I don't know Bob or how to contact him. I will do what I can if anything to help. Thanks for your reply and trying to help me fix this.

I can get the cab view to work however it will give you a default red nose when looking out of the cab as I have no idea what else he altered in the bin files. The bin files that come with the repaint show missing textures for the nose when altered to add cab view and I have no idea how to fix this so that the nose shows the correct colours as he has altered more than was perhaps needed in the bin files. So to get it to work with the red nose I gave it a new bin file copied from warbonnet and if your not worried about not seeing the correct colour on the nose when sitting in the cab and just want to use these let me know or you can wait and see if anyone else has better luck fixing them.

Thanks for the offer Merlin. I would like to see the correct color. However, two of the AWVR has red (don't know what color red) as It's color looking out of the cab at the front hood. 7609 and 7703 should have a red out of cab hood view. I'll try it and see how close the colors are. It may not be enough to tell that much of a difference.
