Daylight completed, a slight change in the colours from the previous images and all the 'wee bits' completed too.

Onto the 'Kodachrome' now.

Now to work on the engine rating.

Looking at the 'sim bin' file I see a MaxPowerAtRail entry in the SD45 Engine Simulation.bin file. I think, from what I read online, that is the power rating for the loco.

It reads:
<MaxPowerAtRail d:type="sFloat32" d:alt_encoding="000000000050A940" d:precision="string">3240</MaxPowerAtRail>

I take that 3240 to be about 10% less than the rating of 3500 so I have edited the reskins 'sim.bin' to read:

<MaxPowerAtRail d:type="sFloat32" d:alt_encoding="000000000018A540" d:precision="string">2700</MaxPowerAtRail>

2700 being about 10% of the 3000bhp that was requested for this reskin.

I have no real testing to prove that this is either correct or will reduce the loco rating within TS2014, so if you have any input for m, let me know please.

Its going to be more than 10% loss, and you will need to change the TE vs MPH chart. I'll PM you with the details and the hows and whys tonight.

Did any get SPSF before the merger was denied? I can do SF just by moving the logo and changing the P to F. If you have any images of the SD45 in SPDF then I will add one just because it will be easily done.

OH, I just realised the mistake on the SP then. If it was going to have SF added then the right hand side SP is in the wrong place, it needs to be at the back.
