FEC E7

Maybe this will inspire someone to build a little of the Florida East Coast. It would be a great route.

I'm still working on the FEC. Finishing Hialeah Yard, but it's been though with some deaths in the family and what not. But towards the end of summer/beginning of fall, I'll have some more progress screenshots in the WIP thread.

I can't tell an E7 from an E8 without doing research.
I'm interested because I have the E7 Britkits payware but not the E8.

E7 and E8 are easily distinguishable by their number boards (E7 = box; E8 = typically inset), window shape (E7 = Rectangular; E8 = round), roof top exhaust (E7 = four over each prime mover; E8 = two in center) and fan arrangement (E7 = vents on either side of prime movers; E8 = round standardized EMD fan shrouds, part of which are covered by box-like winterization hatches). There are dozens of other queues, but those are the ones that can be spotted from just a glance. :D

Thanks. I was never good at train spotting.
On a good day I can tell an F unit from a Geep.

Also, I can't tell modern units apart. Dash-9, ES44, SD70, it's all the same loco to me.
