I just uploaded a set of coalhoppers and covered hoppers lettered for the Applachian Lines. The Appalachian Lines was a merger of three small regional railroads facing challenges to survive in the real world economy of the late 1970's. It included the Virginian & Ohio, the Allegheny Midland, and the Virginia Midland. Modeled after the Chessie System and the SCL/L&N Family Lines, each railroad retained its own identity and color scheme, but followed similar layouts for paint styles and road names. The V&O kept its deep blue and white, the AM adopted a bright red and yellow, and the VM went with yellow and deep green. Like Chessie System and Family Lines, the Appalachian Lines was a name used in marketing and advertising, allowing the three railroads to pool their resources and remain competitive. Not only was this a great excuse to use "run-through" power from the connecting AM and VM roads, but it also helped strengthen convey idea that all three railroads were part of a larger system, connected to the national railroad network.
Hope you enjoy.

Thanks. These cars will look right at home on the NERW, COARW and other eastern/mid-western roads.
One question: do these reskins have autonumbering? For these kind of cars tend to run in solid trains.

The covered hoppers do have autonumbering, the coal hoppers do not.
