hmmmm, this is a problem i never even thought possible..I used the US Mainline Wood railing on the entire route. I must admit, i'm stunned. let me wake up and try and figure out what the heck happened ( all clues are appreciated )..

There's a loading platform missing as well where those containers are to the east of the cargo cranes..
Is there a way to check the assets in the route to find out what packs t=were used?? I got a feeling some of this is payware, and will have to be changed out ( sorry. not trying to upset anyone. i just cant afford to pay for licensing)
If needed, i can rip out all the track and replace it. That only takes a couple days and i dont mind the practice too much.. shaping mountins, painting etc, those are the time killers..

Hang on Pam...don't go and do anything wild just yet.
You haven't added any Assets that are Payware or anything else to be precise in your Route package, except your Template stuff....so it's not disaster time... besides... RW will not let you package protected Assets ( payware ) anyway!!! ( they are colored blue )
You may have used some I am sure and I have been checking to see what....if you have, then the testers who don't have that payware will not see it, have some issues and possibly can't load it.
I don't know what you route is supposed to look like but so far...very nice for a first timer.
Just hang low until I get back to you.....okay!!

Will do Gordon.. And thank you.. I'll hang back, play with mountains and keep working on the guy down below.. I dont have much for photo reference on it, so outside of the one published pic of it, i kinda have to make it up as i go along..
As for the track?/ Somehow i have to find a way to make very certain no one has problems like this or even worse ( if there can be a worse ).. But i figure we'll get there..

Thanks Chris.. I've really fallen in love with that little lakeside town.. If i hadnt had stuff done on it when all the weird tuff started happenng, i would have tossed the entire layout. But thanks to it, ive been reworking everything that was damaged or destroyed, and personally i think the new stuff looks much better, even if its mostly default objects.. It made me stop finger painting and start thinking.. Theres just so much to do, and i've only got three major areas mostly completed.. its an interesting journey though, thats for sure..

Pam
PS.. If anyone has a clue who made that huge train shed in the top picture, PLEASE give me a clue. It says its from the north pole station, wherever that came from, but thats all i know about it.. Thanks in advance :0..

I found something for "North Pole Station" in a leaflet from "Network Rail" about the "Brighton Main Line and Sussex", available
here (PDF file)
P2:In addition there are typically 25-35 freight trains per day in operation each way on this line and empty Eurostar trains running between Waterloo International and North Pole depot.
P 25: North Pole depot - New reversing facilities near current depot. - Ability to turn back WLL trains to/from the south turnback when Eurostar relocates to Stratford.
There's also a network map, it's located in the upper north west of London. On
Wikipedia there is a picture of it, this could be it compared to your pic ;) But I have no idea how this came into Railworks, sorry.
The lakeside looks really nice btw, still a bit empty but if it's WIP I'll wait for the finished version :)

Thanks toldrabald. yeah, its really weird because i havent ever downloaded brighton and sussex.. I normally dont download european routes, at all, which makes it more bizarre. I DID download the North Pole Express, but that was for MSTS, so yeah, i'm plenty confused over it, and want to find out so i can prcure permission to use that building on my route..
The wiki is a good start. It may have been installed with the Voyager, though i'm not positive..
Oh, and thanks :) :) .. loving that lakeside village.. Not as empty as the pcture makes it look. its about a mile out so many things are invisible in the pic.. Still though, not finished yet.. it needs "something", i just dont know what yet, so i'm concentrating on other things at the moment and letting it stew in the back of my brain..

Judging by your 2 screenshots Pam this route has started off very well indeed, any new layouts from the good ole US of A will always be welcome. Good luck with your creativity, I'm sure it will appeal to many members of the community.

Thanks Ex-Railwayman.. That means a lot to hear that right about now..
Currently i'm reworking the grades up to and down from that little lakeside village there as well as the mine.. I cant really expect anyone to fall in love with shay locomotives just because i made a grade only they can handle.. Tried to make a yard similar to Rock Islands Moline Illinois yard, but its been reported as simply, too big which i can kind of see.. My ignorance is catching up with me though i'm afraid.. I can build mountains and lay rail up and down them all day, but i'm completely ignorant when it comes to adding scenery objects and especially the objects in and around the yards.. Its like in one swell foop i go from having a basic clue to never never land and feeling like there is no reality for me to grasp onto; and with my backgound programming simulator aircraft to fly like the real plane, reality is a key point ( except for grades.. I'm gonna miss that 7% grade ::lol:: ).
i dont reaally know what he difference is between a maintenance yard and an industrial yard, and where some towns have industry and are shipping and recieving goods all the time, other towns like Tahoe have no industry and are only recieving goods, so whats the difference in yard construction there?? Its quite confusing, and i may need help, but i hate asking because i know everyone here is really busy, and i've already been quite the pain.. But i'll get it worked out :) I promise :)..
Thanks again
Pam
