Hi everyone.

I thought instead of starting new topics for each repaint project, I'd try keep it all consolidated into one topic. I'll post here my updates on numerous repaint projects.

Regards

I've have had a number of Dash 9 repaints I've been working on for the last little while. With the upgrade issues of last year, they kind of got sidelined for a while but I've dusted them off. They are almost ready for release, I just want to fine tune and double check them. I've worked on some various NS units, BCRail and CN units.

I'll be providing a clean version, and 3 weathered versions (W1, W2, W3) in various degrees from light to heavy.

In the meantime, here is a video showcasing the Norfolk Southern units I've been working on.

I'll put together a video of the BCRail and CN units in the next few days.

I should have correctly referred to them as weathered repaints, particularly in the case of the secondhandheros excellent Lifesaver scheme and give credit where credit is due. All I did was add dust and grime to them.

That's the 4 windowed ones correct?

The BC Rail paint is based off of:

Its based off of the version here on RWA however, I've reworked the texture and colour overlays to bring out the texture details of the base texture plus added weathering. Other then the logo and front and rear stripping, its been completely overhauled.

The red, white and blue version will have to be put on the to-do list.

I wish we could have the CN safety cab version too. It would be great to see in the future assets that we more kit like (like Britkits) where different cabs, and other accessories could be switched out to configure it more prototypical. Right now its like painting an old Athearn HO engine and making it a Canadian version with out using add on parts. *!rolleyes!*

I'll post some screenies shortly.
