This would go well with the Ohio Rails 2 Route.

Holey Moley! That's the only rail line that still comes through "take the last train to" Clarksville, Tennessee, where I have been a cultural refugee since 1981. I'd love to see not only those colors on some engines, but also a route based on the track system they run on.

Can anyone repaint me RJ Corman SD40-2?

Was anyone able to do this? I would love an RJ Corman SD40-2. I know this is an old post, just checking on the progress.

I really don't think anyone did this! I guess whoever has the time to do it will.

Which SD40 pack would it be best to use for the reskin?

I have a 'default SD40 in the KUJU folder but I suspect that is no longer 'default', is it still ok for the reskin?

I also have the following, of which one pack may be better suited to the job than the other. However, they 'all look the same to me' here in the UK.

BNSF Officially Licensed ES44AC & SD40-2 pack
SD40 Burlington North Pack01
SD40 Canadian National Pack01
SD40 Santa Fe Pack01

Also the following which I presume are not good enough.

SD40 Wide Nose Pack01
SD40 High Nose Pack01

Hold on, is the top image a High Nose? I think I might be 'getting it' now. :)
EDIT: Clearly not, it is the same Loco from the rear, which is 'tall' not a high node. See, told you I need help choosing one.

Well, anyway, advice required before I forge ahead and have someone mention that the model I paint was not best suited for the reskin.

So, pick a pack and I will paint one up.

Any of those models would work well.

Default will likely work best because everybody has it (almost)

I like the Kuju idea also since it was free with the game even if someone doesn't have it we can provide it while the other ones you need to buy the pay ware to use it.

Ah yes, I can distribute the the shape file because it was default. Good idea.

I wish when people moved these posts they would leave a 'redirect' took me ages to find this again.

Anyway, here is day one of the reskin. Comments on the colours welcome, the rest is of course still wip.
In the reference shots I have found, some SD40's have no silver base and some do, others also have a white cab roof and others do not. So I have the white roof and the sliver band here. Any opinions should be voiced now please.
