hi everybody,

I just started working on my Fictional "New Holland" route, It's a modern US route, with a bit of an european toutch and will be a great route for Passenger services and freigth trains. I don't know how long the route will be, since I just finished about 15 - 20 miles of it. I like to do Trackwork and scenery together (instead of trackwork first), because i always get new ideas to put in a route...

The route has Super Elevation and is build with the following DLC: NEC, DP and HSC.

Here are the first screenshots, hope you guys like it *!lol!*

Image
1. AMTRAK Train at the station of Fort Strong-Baker ready to depart to New Holland

Image
2. I went a bit further up the line to take this picture of the train traveling with 30MPH trough the forest..

Image
3.Just an hour later, a BNSF freigth train on its way to New Holland, altough i don't know if his destignation was there...

Image
4. A day later i went to the pool to Fish a bit... while this train was driving by...

Image
5. I just wanted to take a picture of the little plane, but now i got a plane and a train *!greengrin!*

Image
6. Just an close up on the location where the last screenshot was made (just take a look at the nice super elevation stuff !*drool*! )

If there are any questions, don't hessitate to ask.. but this route will be WIP for a while!

Yes, when it's finished, this route will be made public *!!wink!!*

I just don't hope to lose all my stuff again due to a computer crash and a damaged rpk file.....

If you're looking for old city buildings to populate your route I've made several and they're available in the file library. Ranging from hotels, a vintage hospital, high rise hotels and several skyscrapers featuring high rise apartments and high rise office buildings. They're all available here in the scenery section under the TS 2012 objects. I'm sure they'll look great on your route.

Keep up the good work, never can have enough freeware routes.

Just best to not use only payware assets for those that either don't have the asked payware routes and can't afford to get them, always nice to use a decent selection of freeware items as well.

Jpetersjr, I saw them already in the file libary and i think their going to be a nice addition to this route. I'm not only using Payware stuff, also freeware... but i think most people have the NEC, HSC and probarly also DP and i'm not going to ad other paywhere routes...

Back up back up backup........over.

I know, but my back up files got corrupted somehow :/ so it was the end of the story..

and Finaly, some new screenshots :-)

Today there was a special train from the UP on its way from Fort Strong-Baker to Colfax, Pulled by a SD40-2

Image
1. SD40-2 on its way to Colfax pulling the special train down hill to the station.

Image
2. not much later it arrived at the station of Colfax, where the SD40-2 would end his journey...

Image
3. The train is heading back to Fort Strong-Baker without the SD40-2, which will be brought back by the BNSF...

Image
4. While departing.... Acidents are happening.. a big truck ran into an oldtimer car...Ambulance and police are already on the scene!

Image
5. Train on its way back to Fort Strong-Baker...

Enjoy! :D

Tips and stuff are always welcome *!!wink!!*
