After releasing my 1964 Pontiac GTO models I'm now starting on a set of cars.

First on the clipboard is the 1964 Oldsmobile 442, the real ones of these cars could really hall tail. They came stock with a 442 Big block V8.

Something new that I'm working on. Lets see if you all can figure out what this is.

I know what it is, but do you.

What kind of car is this, I'll give you a hint, it's a 1965.

Yes, it is.

This is the first one to a set of 60's vehicles.

The next one will be a 1966 Buick Special 4DR

There will also be a golden one with black racing stripes like the one from the movie Gone In 60 Seconds. The plate, if there is a plate will most likely say Elinor.

Actually the 442 stands for four-barrel carburetor, a four-speed manual transmission, and dual exhaust pipes, Not the displacement of the engine. They came with an option of a 330 Small block, or a 400 Big Block.

Now preparing the car for export, the body came out great if I must say.

If you're going to model a "Judge" (a low-end GTO), be aware that it didn't have side window wind wings - the last year GTO's had wind wings was 1968 - otherwise, and aside from the rear spoiler, '68 and '69 bodies were nearly identical.

Also note that there's no such animal as a '65 GT 500 - those didn't appear until 1967. The body style you have in the above pics is closer to a '65/'66 "2+2" - aka: fastback/GT 350. '67 and later fastbacks were wider and had a flatter roof line. The Mustang opera windows were covered and there was only one scoop on the rear quarter panel not two. You're also missing the headlight area on the front - you have the fog light modeled, but not the other. There was also no Mustang badge on the front or anywhere else on the car. Also your hood scoop is backward.

FWIW.
Cheers!

Yes, the GTO Judge is going to be a 68, didn't realize I used the wrong type of spoiler.

Also I dropped the Mustang because of design problems.

Going to edit the nose some to look like the 68.

"The Judge" was introduced in 1969, so if you're going to drop the spoiler just make it a straight GTO. Also be aware that the GTO had twin hood scoops not one.

You're off to a good start, but you should tweak the sides so as not to be so flat. !!*ok*!!
Cheers!

Instead of a 68 GTO, I built it into a 70 GTO. Also I tried and can't round the sides anymore then they already are, but of course, I don't expect it to be perfect.

And compared to a real 1970 Pontiac GTO

Still, I love how the model is coming out, it's going to look great in the sim.
