Now that eyein12 has released his great SD60F locomotive DLC, I've started to do some repaints for it.

First on the list as a modified Zebra skin. I've changed the red colour to be a more prototypical orange. I also changed the orientation of the Zebra stripping. CN Zebras had the stripes orientated so when the locos are lashed up, the stripes will face the same direction regardless of the direction of the locomotive.

Here are a couple early shots. I need to work some more on them and will also be doing a North American scheme as well as CN.ca scheme. The weathering will be pretty subdued when compared to my SD40W rust buckets because CN seems to take better care of the SD60s then they did the SD40 work horses.







I'll post more progress shots as continue working on them.

Bc rail and cp never had any sd60f's, bcr had 8-40cm's and cp had sd40f's

Sd60f's have the tri Window where sd60f's have the 4 Window. To tell a 8-40cm from the rest, the easiest way is to look at the radiators, the sd60f's have a single large vent for it on the rear where the cm has a very weird looking setup...... Take a look at some pics and after looking you will spot the differences. And the cp pic u got is real, it's just really clean with fresh paint.

The CP "Red Barn" is based on a SD40-2.

This will be the only CN NA scheme as according to my research, 5537 is the only SD60F locomotive with the CN NA scheme.



Still have some work to do to fine tune them.



I have a couple glitches in the texture which I can't figure out. Will most likely leave them there as I don't think it can be fixed.

Also I have a prototypical photo of a real dirty SD60F which I'm going to paint and I'll keep secret until I release my package.

That just makes me want to finish my sd60 pack lol! what do I do? so many projects,
