Here's a locomotive I've been working on for some time.

Just today pulled it back out and decided to start working on it again.

Once done it will be the ATSF 3415.

And here's what the real thing looked like.

Testing my pacific in game as a scenery item. Size appears to be correct and textures decent, mainly the boiler texture. Curious though at how people like Rick gets his engine shiny and sleek looking like he did his.

My engine so far looks like it would have been better as a coal train.

The windows will also be a problem to get them to appear as transparent in the game, how would one do that exactly. Once I finish the body I'll try to get it actually running in the game.

Once finished this engine will be freeware. With a 3d cab as well.

And here's my engine wip compared to the Atlantic. Which, my Pacific WIP should be longer then the Atlantic.

As well, this is a C1 Class Pacific.

All in all, what do you think of the texture on the boiler?

The texture is alright, on the outside it repeats though and looks bad where it does. (Ie, rough lines). Good work though.

How does the texture look now.

P.S the train might appear better with higher settings in Railworks.
