CSX A Line- NC Segment

Hi all, my HSM Co route is still in progress however the fabulous A Line route being made in Florida inspired me to make the segment I railfan for at least a hour every week. I'm laying the track while I gather decals and putting it all together. So far, I have made a humble start- the old wye, now abandoned, 2 gons and a flat are parked on the one track, the middle track was just torn up a few months ago, the area where I think an old tower once stood is now used for scrap and MOW staging. The track the cars are parked on is the old spur to Erwin. I'm modeling the route as accurate from early 2011, as a railroad crossing and one of the old wye tracks have been taken out since then, and the old spur remnants are next. Anyhow, time for some pics! I really need a unique propeller style switch stand for the abandoned track's switch, but it's not that huge of an issue. I also need tri-light signals, but I'll try to make those.

*!!thnx!!* to SCLALINE for inspiration.

Would you like to add this to your route eventually.

Where I live, every now and then I've even seen a old Model T come up to my work place, in this point in time.

Will be finished with this model very soon.

I'd love too, could you make an old firetruck if I show you pics? Apex still owns their original old truck, I think it's a Chevy.

Yes, I can try. I hope to make tons of different vehicles from the 30's to also further help with my route.

The route I'm working on is set in 1935, that's one reason I started building these.

Lots of progress tonight, put the storage track down as well as the lead to the transloading facility, and reworked the abandoned wye.

Haha yup, nobody's made many southeastern routes yet, so there's not much content available.
Quick vote, should I do present (2012, with removed tracks, removed signals, 1 crossing closed.), 2002 (Partially removed tracks, no crossings closed, all signals there.), or 1970s-80s (All tracks, crossings and signals including the D&S interlocking and line to Erwin/Dunn)?
Note, I already have all modern tracks.

Off topic, but I drove a gas truck at LAX filling up all the ground handling equipment. Split shift, 6 hours in the morning, 6 hours at night. What a PITA. Pay was OK tho. Hope you're just delivering to stations, that's a lot easier. Be safe. That stuff will blow up.
