Here's some progress on my new iron truss bridge for Railworks.

Some more progress on my new bridge.

Still have a lot to do and will try to make the beams look more like I beams.

Though, don't know if that would drive the poly level up though.

Tell me if I'm adding too much detail to the bridge, or if it's starting to look real enough.

The bridge will come in two versions, double and single version.

Next I'm going to try to thin down the center struts and then add the strut supports, as can be seen in the picture of the real one. And then I have to do the interior of the I beams main support. Then maybe I'll be able to put it into Crafter soon and finish it up, mainly the texturing and sizing. If I don't have to change anything else on the model itself I'll be able to then transfer it over to Crafter.

After I finish this model I believe I might try a iron trussle bridge. One of the taller ones, building the supports will be a challenger though and it will require a large deep canyon to use.

And, I don't plan on building any wood bridges.

hey J, your polly coun't isn't something to really worry about in RW, remember how many pollys RSC's locos have now, it makes your bridge look like an 8 bit videogame in pollycount sence....keep adding the detail, and you will find skills you have never seen before in yourself and just keep getting better!

Next, I want to do something even bigger. Will have some more progress later after I get out of work, if I have time.

Did some more progress on the bridge. The basic body of the bridge is just about done and soon I'll send it over to Crafter for sizing and texturing.
