New German Route: Cologne - Duesseldorf

Unread postby micaelcorleone » Sat Oct 22, 2011 8:19 am

I just want to inform you that German developer Aerosoft is working on a new German route called "Köln-Düsseldorf" (Cologne-Duesseldorf).
The releasedate for the Aerosoft shop is planned to be somewhere in November.

Translation from the Aerosoft site (http://www.shop.aerosoft.com/eshop.php?action=article_detail&s_supplier_aid=50282&s_design=bahn&shopfilter_category=Train%20Simulation&s_language=german):

"Cologne is the largest city of the State of Nordrhein-Westfalen. Therefore, the city became an important commerce center and is Germany's traffic junction with the largest railroad traffic volume and with the largest railroad intermodal facility ("Cologne Eifeltor").

Located in the center of the metropolitan area "Rhein-Ruhr" and the central european market, Duesseldorf is one of the five most important, globally cross-linked, economic, traffic, cultural and political centers of Germany, the so-called Big Five.

Included stations:
• Köln Hbf • Köln Messe/Deutz • Köln-Buchforst • Köln-Mülheim • Köln-Stammheim • Bayerwerk
• Leverkusen Mitte • Leverkusen-Küppersteg • Leverkusen-Rheindorf • Langenfeld-Berghausen
• Düsseldorf-Hellerhof • Düsseldorf-Garath • Düsseldorf-Benrath • Düsseldorf-Reisholz • Düsseldorf-Eller Süd • Düsseldorf-Oberbilk • Düsseldorf Volksgarten • Düsseldorf Hbf"

As this is an important commuter route, it'll come with the typical bi-level commuter coaches in DB regional red paint with cab-control car and loco.

My mom was born in Koln. Wonder if the route will include the Dom.

OK, then, I'm gonna have to get this. Been waiting for a new other-than-British-or- NA route. Not that I don't like them, just want something new. Love the station, shadows, and the commuter train. Nice! !!*ok*!!

And, of course, I will soon get to work on a scenario Package *!lol!*

Looks like they did a good job on the Dom and Hohenzollern Bridge.
