I may have mentioned this before but I grew up next to the EJ&E tracks just east of Elgin and saw a lot of trains go by in my years there.
This little critter was a infrequent one but is just plain cute.

Looks great! Is the SW1 a straight-forward reskin? I have not looked into that one. I need to crank out some DT&I units.

Since I know where all the bits and pieces are I would be happy to do one for you. It's kind of straight forward but the details are kind of all over the place. Can you post or send me some pics. I looked and they seem kind of obscure. !!det!!

The very first DT&I SW1s were painted black. After too many grade crossing accidents, exasperated officials said to paint them in a color that couldn't be missed. This set the tradition of International Orange becoming the standard for the DT&I,and even Ann Arbor for nearly 4 decades. I have the DT&I font on my pc,which is why I wondered about the model. I should have just opened up one of the maps, and taken a look. It is a simple scheme, the numbers and herald are chrome castings from the steam-era. The SW-7 was the second reskin I did in Trainz,at the turn of the century. The Broadway Limited image is an SW-7,but the scheme is the same. the orange is slightly light in that pic.

Wonderful,Buzz! FYI 900 and 901 were the only true road numbers for those switchers. They had a small selection of the dual stack NW2 and Sw7. Orange looks very good on my screen.
