I sure wish one of our modelers would do some updated heavyweight cars but in the meantime here are some of Dick Cowen's cars in matching paint to the soon to be released FT units.

So do I. That is probably my biggest wish for TSC. I have plans for B&O office cars, painting diagrams, lettering, etc for heavyweights, pre and post 1940s.

Your’s is looking as nice as it can, though, Buzz. B&O livery sure is a classic.

B&O Office cars were in the 900-917 series, with the top cars being 97-100, as the B&O’s revered “Uncle Dan” Willard wanted his office cars numbered 99 (yes, multiple cars bearing the same number at the same time, and nearly identical). This eventually was changed to 98 and 99, and later 100 by 1929. A new car for the VP in 1923 naturally became 97.
