My next repaint will be the F7 Canadian Pacific based on HIS SOURetroPack F7. Thanks to HIS, you can see the only snow-covered F7 loco in Train Simulator Classic in winter. And here are Canadian Pacific's trio of ABA locos. I've changed the shade from too red for my taste to this more realistic one. I've still got the winter version left, and then I'll tackle the zebra-striped CN F7. !DUH!

I have been remiss in not answering your question you asked me by PM and I apologize. Take the alpha layer and make it all black on the half that is yellow and the number should become invisible.

Hi Buzz, thank you for your answer, but my question is not how to make the numbers invisible. In fact, my question wasn't clear. The problem is that the numbers come from the SD40-2 and not from the basic F7. So if I make the yellow numbers invisible, I'll affect the SD40-2 numbers too, and I only want the F7-CP numbers. So how do I use the numbers from the SD40-2, make them invisible only for the F7 and not those from the SD40? **!!bang!!**

Copy and paste the numbers and the SD40-2_SOU_numbers.bin from the SD40-2 folder and put them in the F7 Textures folder. Then go into the F7 Sou 01.bin if that's the one you are using (with your loco name inside) . Go down to this line:
<BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString">RailVehicles\Diesel\SD40-2\Engine_HighShortHood\Textures\SD40-2_SOU_numbers.xml</BlueprintID>
Change it in two places to:
<BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString">RailVehicles\Diesel\F7\Textures\SD40-2_SOU_numbers.xml</BlueprintID>

Now it should be looking at the numbers in your F7 folder.

Additionally go into the numbers bin that you moved and change:
HIS\SOURetroPack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD40-2\Engine_HighShortHood\Textures\[00]Number_0</TextureID>
to
HIS\SOURetroPack01\RailVehicles\Diesel\F7\Textures\[00]Number_0</TextureID>

Do all the numbers. Just do the find and replace in TSTools find and replace all. \SD40-2\Engine_HighShortHood\ to \F7\

It was so simple and I couldn't do it because I was complicating things unnecessarily. Many thanks to you Buzz for your precious help! !*cheers*!
