Seeing as this year will be Amtrak's 50th anniversary, I figured I may as well do something a little special to commemorate the occasion. I'd love to do some more early Amtrak/predecessor road stuff as well at some point, but my list of ideas is already a mile long and growing.

Hoping to get into Blender properly at some point before May so I can do this one justice with the ex-PRR lift rings on the nose. If I can get my head around that, expect some more E8s from that area in the not too distant future.

Oh, right, this was a thing I was working on. As usual I've left everything to the very last minute to finish, but what's new there. Today's project was making the lift rings and mounting them on the nose, and I just need to do some last minute touch up work on some parts of the main texture and I think it'll be ready for release.

Very elegant paint job. Nice job. This will be a keeper.
