Wow! LoL! In one of my business trips to Milwaukee I visited the Shlitz brewery. That was about the late 80s.
I believe that beer trademark is not anymore alive.
*!!thnx!!*

Between QcRail and Buzz, I think they have "tapped" into a "keg" of beer reefer demand. In as much, I would like to toss my suggestion into the repaint ring. I haven't found any prototype pics yet, so I'm not sure Olympia even had billboard reefers. But I like the logo, and the beer isn't that bad either.

Naw, It's either "From the Land of Sky Blue Water" Hamm's or "Lite & Like-Able from God's Country" Old Style. Maybe even, "I am From Milwaukee, and I Ought to Know, Blatz Beer, Tastes Great, Where Ever You Go!" !*cheers*!

I have no problem of a "what if" reefer. Some people have actually fallen into 'this is real' trap but I still think a little whimsy every now and then is just fine. I cannot tell a lie. When I first started drinking beer (being a Midwesterner) my beer of choice was in fact Schlitz. Somewhat later we graduated to Old Style a at the time little known beer out of La Crosse Wisconsin. It became kind of a cult beer for us in Northern Illinois.

You're from Illinois, You should be all about Franklin McCormack's favorite Beer... "Meister Bräu". I remember listening to Franklin, at night, on his "Meister Bräu All Night Showcase", telling people how great it was, over the "Clear Channel Voice of Mid America" WGN. I was 496 Miles away from Chicago. How's that for dating one's self. !!jabber!!

Good grief! yeah that's old stuff for me as well. It was made by Peter Hand Brewery. In one of my early lives we hauled cases of beer out of there to Lake Geneva Wisconsin for the tourist trade.

I tried Old Style once. Not a big fan of it. My dad on the other hand loves it. It is big around here in the "tri-states" area of Iowa. !*cheers*!

About the trademark, Schlitz is made by the Pabst Brewing. Their beers are actually brewed under contract by MillerCoors.

Interesting to see some of these old box cars. I see the cans almost every day.
