Union Pacific Excursion Boxcar
Posted: Sat Jan 18, 2020 9:19 pmIt's been quite a while since I've done a repaint. I don't have as much free time as I used to have. Nonetheless, I get the motivation to come back and do a repaint from time to time.
This is my attempt at re-creating UPP 9336, formerly known as the UP Excursion Boxcar. It was a common sight on Union Pacific excursion prior to being wrecked in an accident. It's only unfortunate to assume that the car is most likely scrapped at this point.
The base model is the Searchlight/JR 60ft boxcar. I upscaled the texture to 4096x4096, but I don't see any difference. Not to mention I've had some trouble editing the alpha layer to remove the shine. Still not sure how I'm going to resolve that...
Keep an eye out for something else. Something has been sitting and collecting dust for a number of months now, and it will soon see daylight.
