Long removed from revenue service, Consolidation 201 waits its call for a MOW job to Conneaut Lake Park

(just waiting on approval from another payware provider regarding release of another MOW car - fingers crossed :D )

(couldn't let my favourite locomotive be homeless )

I would like to see a better whistle on the engine though.

Think the repaint looks great, can't wait to get the route and can't wait to try this out on it.

Well Jon then just do it. There's only about 18,000 whistles in the library.

Just need to sort out the numbering issue and they are done **!!bang!!** There is both an advanced & HUD version. Will then look to possibly Erie and B&O

Better in what sense?

I should point out that it currently sports an authentic (and quillable) Lunkenheimer - the very one that the original carried.

However, if you really want something more musical, but not authentic at all, I did actually make one (in response to a polite request):
http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/download-library/sounds-enhancements?view=document&id=2143:cnj-3-chime-whistle-for-at-n-consolidation&catid=25:sounds

If you still need something "better", I suggest putting on something like a Nathan AirChime *!rolleyes!*

There will be 4 road numbers in the set - 101, 104 109 & 113. Thanks to some information received from Roger (gtrtroger), these are legitimate Consolidation road numbers from the B&LE, which were scrapped by around 1930 (although Mike's model Consolidation wasn't built until 1920 *!!wink!!* ) There are both adv and HUD versions. I am still having an issue in getting the tenders to inherit the road number from the locomotive, but in the interim, the number can be changed in the usual way in the scenerio editor.

Relegated from revenue service, just perfect I think for MOW service by the late 1920's !!*ok*!!

!*cheers*!

Well done!

The only way to get the tender to inherit the same number as the engine is for the dcsv file to have only one number in it - so that the Quick Drive scenario generator has only one number to choose from at random, and therefore picks the same number for them both. That's why the default Connie now always comes out as 201 (I deleted all the other numbers).
Of course, you can also edit the auto-generated Quick Drive scenario to change the numbers before you actually start playing the scenario.
