BNSF Brush Subdivision take 2

Unread postby ColoradoRailfan » Sat Jan 14, 2017 9:47 am

A couple years ago, I first tried to create this route, I abandoned it and since I have a new computer now, I decided to work on it again. This line will run from Denver Colorado, and over 100 miles Northwest to Brush, where the line splits off into 2 tracks, one heading east, known as the Akron Sub, and one heading Northwest, on UP tracks with trackage rights to Sterling, CO. This line was first ran by the CB&Q, until the merger in 1970, it was then ran by the BN, until its merger with the ATSF, this route today is ran by BNSF. Traffic on this will have 2 Z trains, high and low priority Manifests, mostly coal trains, and Amtrak's California Zephyr's #5 and #6.

Very nice!

There was a WIP version of this route for MSTS several years ago that I had a chance to download and check out. I bought a DVD featuring this line in anticipation of that route being finished but it never was. Looking forward to hopefully having the chance to check out your version in the future.

This will be cool to see! I flew in directly along this route when coming to Denver a few months ago. We basically followed I-76 from Julesburg.
