Hello everybody!! I'm proud to announce my newest undertaking... The PRR Class A3 0-4-0.
PRR Class A3 Render #1.jpg

It doesn't look like much but the frame of the engine is still a work in progress. Here's the status of the it:

Here's a detail shot of the smokebox:

I'm going to try and split up my time between this and the 25 Tonner, as well as anything else I plan on doing.

I don't want to sound rude, but I do plan on finishing the GE 25 Tonner that I started before this. This is something I'm going to work on a little at a time.

Here's a small update. Not much has changed except for the fact that the frame cutouts are just about done and I added the cylinders. I will also be getting back to the GE 25T to work on getting it finished.

Also, does anybody have or know where I can find pictures of the inside of PRR 643's cab? The reason I ask is because based on videos and the plan that I have, the cabs look like they could be very similar to each other. Thanks *!!thnx!!* *!!thnx!!*

Hopefully at some point you might be able to try to get one of these running in the sim as a simple engine.

Will be looking forward to that day, you're definitely very good at modeling, perhaps later you should try some cars as simple test models for scenery.

...Cheers...

Here's another update: the frame cutouts are done, the cab has been started and the sand/steam domes have been added.

Next I'd love to see it running in the sim.

I have to admit that you have skill in the building parts, but can you get it running in the sim.

I know that I tried something similar and couldn't get it running, now I simply don't have the time to really try.

Don't worry, I'm still working on the RS-3. *!greengrin!* I just thought I'd come back to this and update it a little.

I've started the reverser assembly and the side rods. As well as added the air cylinder.
