Some did an some didn't. Photo evidence shows that SCL 2024 (restored and running today) did not have the 'pulling for you' slogan on the side.

interestingly enough, 2024 was restored with a boxed generator. Today's technology in generators is light years ahead of the generator that it came with. Which the original generator was blown. With the new generator, it puts out 600 more horses. So, if you can wrap your head around it, the SD45 now produces 4200 horses!
