Some New Projects

Unread postby ryan9550 » Wed Oct 26, 2016 3:46 pm

Hello everybody! Now before continue I just want to say that the RS-3 project's not dead (I've put to much work in to quit on it now), I'm just taking a break from it for a little while. The following render is one of the last ones of it for a little bit:

Now... the purpose of this post is to show everyone the new locomotives I've been working on. The first is the GE 25 Tonner:

The next is the EMD NW-2:

The next is the ALCo C-415:

And last but not least is the GE E44:

With that 25 tonner can you make a repaint of USA 7751 an ex us army switcher now used at the pinecreek railroad, I volunteer there and can get you detailed images sound clips and the like

I've decided that whenever I start a new project, I will update this post. When I make progress on what I'm modeling, then I'll start a thread for it.

For this update I've started two new projects. The first is actually a commissioned build from GenericZack, an outdoor locomotive display:
Outdoor Covered Display 2.jpg

The next one is a pretty special type of model *!greengrin!*. How many of you can identify what this is a part of. *!greengrin!* *!greengrin!*

Now, I can already predict it won't take long to identify what it's from. So if you know it, just post a bunch of these: !*drool*! or !*YAAA*!

Here's another diesel currently in the early stages of development. Can anybody guess what it is? *!greengrin!* *!greengrin!* I'm FAIR-ly certain someone will figure it out. *!!wink!!* *!!wink!!*

I just want to say that this project isn't one I just started. It's one that I started a few years ago, I just went through it and redid almost everything.
Freelance 0-4-4T Render #1.jpg

I have no clue as to what it's based on, but all I know is that it's an 0-4-4T. Here's the plan I'm using, if anyone knows what the prototype is please let me know *!!thnx!!*
loco 20-3 construction2.jpg
Freelance 0-4-4T Boiler #1.jpg
Freelance 0-4-4T Frame #1.jpg

I'm actually using parts of the PRR A3. I'm using a modified frame, wheels, boiler and the cylinders. In doing that, I've had to squeeze it all into the old model.

Thanks for reading *!!thnx!!* *!!thnx!!*

Thanks! I knew it had to be based on a real world locomotive. I'll refer to this engine while modeling.

Thanks again *!!thnx!!* *!!thnx!!*
