*IMPORTANT APOLOGY*
A while back, essentially when I made this post, I outdid myself with train simulator, and at the same time started doing other things in my life. It caused me to essentially disappear from the Train Simulator community totally unannounced. Now we have a Stay-at-home order, and I’m somewhat getting back into it, for the time being at least. Turns out, I left a lot of people hanging. And I feel terrible for that, so I think it’s important to say most of what I posted as a WIP, such as this thread, were never finished and never will be. If anybody happens to look at this old thread and see this, please don’t hesitate to DM me if you’d like to pick up the work where I left off. I’ll send you whatever file you want, assuming I can still find it on my machine.
Sorry, and thank you.

I just recently started this for fun. It won't be totally prototypical since it is based on the SD70ACe, but it is close enough. I'm modeling child objects to add on to the SD70 DLC. Here it the first child object positioned onto the engine.

Thanks.
As far as I know, there is not. I am learning as much as I can first, and then I plan on releasing a tutorial. I am slowly learning more and more about the process.

Is this going to be the demo units? There's no official delivered T4 ACe yet.

Edit: there are those UP ones with EMD on the sides instead of UP.

I hate to break this to you but we are not in the real world here. Don't tell anyone.

I will paint these in both Demo paint schemes. Along with this, I will most likely paint NS, CSX, BNSF, and UP versions as a 'what they will look like' kind of thing

So finally you are mastering the art of children.
!*cheers*!

EDIT: This one will need a new mod of simulation files, I believe?

That is what my thought was. If anyone can edit them, that would be fantastic. I do not know how to do this, so all I can do is the exterior looks.

So with that, is there anyone that would be willing to modify the simulation files?

I know of FanRailer only, but I guess there are some here that could do it provided they get the right information.
Doing that is not only editing the bins and dcsv curves but having the right loco specifications to do a good job and that go beyond what you can find in sites like the Wiki. Those T4 are pretty new tech with dramatic improvements in the tractive effort and a much better efficiency than the classic ACe. Lots of new electronics that were not available with the ACe 12 years ago.
Not sure but there may even be differences in the T$ built for different RR.

Don´t worry much about that and focus in your job. At the end they will be very nice addons.
