Hi everyone, this is a custom repaint I recently did for the NJ Transit GP40PH-2B, and I wanted to know what you guys think of it before I post it in the file library. The repaint makes it into GP40-2H #6696, in service with Connecticut Department of Transportation on Shore Line East. The repaint was custom made for the Branford Steam Railroad route by SQK4477, please check it out, it's a really great route, though it can also be used on the New Haven-Stamford section of the New York to New Haven route. Please note, I will be releasing a Shore Line East coach pack soon, complete with Mafersa Coaches (substituted with the streamliners from the Califronia Zephyr Pack) and Shoreliner Coaches and Cab Cars.

Geez you guys a real photo-bugs. I will check the saturation on our camera. !**duh*!!
It is soooo cool that the 2 guys I hang out with on TS (joshuaharkness and SQK4477) that I was able to get a shot just yesterday of the real thing. Joshua's model and SQK's route - the BSRR. !*YAAA*!

I think I will actually do a Shoreliner repaint for these, now that I've seen a better view of them, the CZ cars look a little too big and bulky.

Have you tried the G-trax lightweights or britkits' streamlined pack?

I will not be using third party content not available on Steam.

There is a red Shoreliner reskin for the FL9 version.

Seriously, this model is close to spot on! You should write a Workshop scenario utilizing that repaint on the Stamford to New Haven section of the NYNH route. Were the bin files based on TheAudioShack's GP40PH-2B Sound Set as it has the bin files to allow the horn to be quilled.

I won't be using those two add-ons because neither of them are available on Steam, despite the developer of one having many other add-ons on Steam.

No, the .bin files are based off of the default sounds (to prevent other requirements), however, the Audio Shack sounds should be compatible with the repaint. Thank you, I'm glad to hear you like it. Also, I am planning to do that, plus I plan to create several Workshop scenarios for the Branford Steam Railroad with the GP40-2H and coach pack, once the route is finalized.
