Colorado narrow gauge pack.

Unread postby TheEmmaSweeny1 » Thu Apr 28, 2016 4:50 pm

Hello eyeryone.
I am in the works of releasing a pack of colorado narrow gauge items. the pack will include repaints, new sounds, scenery items, and more.(it is more than repaints, so this should not be moved to repaints section).
so far, i am working on some repaints of the k-27. it will include 3 roads, and a total of 10 lireries. so far, i have done D&RGW 464(with d&S tender) and RGS 461 (weathered. the catch is, someone will have to make and send me a bin file for each repaint, as RWtools and my computer dont get along. If you would be willing to help (and share credit with me), message me.

below are some screenshots of the engines:

thanks for your support. my main problem is that i only can create texture files, no repaint files. therefor, i can only swap out textures for the default DRGW passenger equipment on the dsng.

What do you mean when you say you can't create re-paint files?

I'm still not clear on what you are trying to say. You replicate the locomotive you want to re-paint, change the bin file to the new name making the modifications inside the bin, use your new textures and Wola! you have a new locomotive. If the thing is a piece of payware you need to remove the GeoPcDx file before uploading because that is someone else's intellectual property but that's it.

changing the bin file is my problem. My computer and RWtools definitely dont agree with each other, so i am stuck having to swap in and out textures.

Well then young padawan you need to learn how to do this. Many of us thought this was a black art until we learned how to do it. If you are serious I would be glad to work with you. We probably should take this to PM so as to not bore people.
