Coaster Pack

Unread postby Sibell » Thu Mar 03, 2016 2:07 pm

Since my last repaint for the Coaster cars and F40, I learned a lot and started the repaint again.
Now we all know that the coaster cars have decals now, and there a some repaints of it...but....I don't like the color of them, and my F40 looks different with my colors, because I tried to use the colors they have on many pictures in the sun.

The cars are done, and the F40 is in th final stage.
On the pictures from the cab car you can see that I changed the color of the red lights too beause the default one don't look red enough to me.
Hope everyone will be happy when this pack is done. I will also change and edit the F59PHI.

These look great! Drop-in replacement for the existing textures?

EDIT: Decals by J's Train Simulator Workshop on Facebook.

Wow those look really good! How hard was it to make those decals? I remember the first metro pack had them but they didn't look aliased and were sort of floating off the car. Yours look right on, was it easy to do?

Openrailer, are you friends with this guy? He keeps nagging us about getting credit for his decal work on these units and threatening to turn us in to DTG. Obviously DTG can not do anything about this as the files have not even been uploaded to the site. I doubt they could do anything but laugh. All there is are these few screenshots. Sibell has not even finished the package yet. I ask you as I see you have credited him in your post. I am getting tired of his obnoxious emails, he swears so much I feel like I am back on Active Duty in the Marines.

1. I talked with him via Facebook, and I said I will credit him in the readme
2. why I should wrote credits in a forum post ? don't check that
3. I will erase this decals and add my own...

I agree Sibell and told him so. Credits for a screenshot post is not really necessary and you always credit people when you use their items. As talented as you are you should have no problem making your own decals. Keep smiling.

Looks nice! Is that an F40PH in the screenshot?

It's the F40PH-2CAT that J's Train Sim Workshop has been posting WIP shots of?

The one in Sibell's pic is not the CAT as it has the rear walkway present. The colors are also different.
