Unread postby Sibell » Sat Feb 06, 2016 8:17 pm

Finally I got some lessons how to use Blender and work with it.
And here's the result...my first building in canadian style.
Hope you like it...when I finally got it imported to Railworks I will show some more pictures. *!greengrin!*

This is my first built ever, so pls critism and suggestions are welcome.

Looks good so far! :D

I do notice a couple of texture glitches on some of the sills and just below the roofline, however (possible the parts are mapped too close to a contrasting color?). You also might try reducing the spacing on the siding by tightening the mapping. Most modern houses use 6" or 8" boards, while older homes use 5" or 6". A corner trim piece (can be a 6" x 6" block, set from the base to the roofline, can be used to frame the house and give it a more natural look.
Cheers!

Yes you're right, the block I still have forgotten, but I will try to make a new one and get it in there...or I edit this one. *!embar*!

AT this point I will say thx to my teacher which have a big amount of nerves to spend over 12 hours to show me step by step how to use Blender, do templates, make textures, editing blueprints etc etc etc. LukRailAmerica..I'm so proud that we are friends !!! **!!bow!!** **!!bow!!** !*salute*!
